Sharing My World – Snow, Sweets and Toys

The Share Your World-  writing challenge is brought to us each week by the lovely Cee via her Photography Blog. It consists of 4 questions she makes to get to know each other better.

These are this weeks’s questions:

Durham, NC 2010

If you had a choice to live anywhere would be your preference salt water beaches, forest, fresh water lakes, hot tub, ski resort or desert?

Hot tub? I can live in a hot tub? Haha… well, I don’t want to live in a hot tub but I definitely want to have a hot tub where I live. My preference would be the mountains where it does snow but the winters aren’t brutal. Somewhere either in the Pacific Northwest (B.C., Washington, Oregon) or somewhere in Northern Italy. *sigh* I actually fantasize about this often.

What was your favorite toy as a child . . . and now?

I don’t remember one specific toy, but I remember loving crafty toys like the easy bake oven or chocolate making kits. I would also get very, very excited whenever I was ever gifted one of those art cases with tons of art supplies and I think I always left toy stores with a new stuffed animal, can’t resist those.

Now? I love stuffed animals. I still do. I think I always will. And board games (with adult drinks).

Which do you prefer sweet, salty or both at the same time?

Whoever thought of adding sea salt to dark chocolate and caramel is a genius. So I guess the answer is both at the same time. But in general, I love desserts and I am addicted to chocolate, I definitely have a sweet tooth, more like sweet teeth.

Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why?

Yes. I love snow and skiing. Watching snow fall makes me happy. I grew up in a city where it never snows and I have never lived in a super snowy place, so every time I am with snow, I’m happy.
