Cilantro Lime Hummus

Enjoy this Mexican twist on the traditional hummus with crackers, veggies or in a sandwich. Bring it to your next dinner party if you want to please everyone.

Well, everyone except those who hate cilantro, which seems to be a big bunch. I don’t know anyone personally though.

It is very easy to make, just blend all the ingredients together!

I used my nutribullet to make it since I don’t have a food processor.

  1. I just made a batch of my usual hummus this morning — I’ll have to try your twist next time. It looks very interesting!

  3. I bet one could use something like parsley instead of cilantro for those who don’t like the taste. The lime juice is a nice addition.

  7. I’ve made humus with cilantro before too, and absolutely LOVED it! With a whole lot of garlic, lime juice and cayenne thrown in too, it was a big hit 😉 Thanks for sharing!

  9. Looks good. Hummus seems to have come into fashion a little bit here in DF! Fair to say I’ve been binging on it quite a lot in-between taco campechanos. I might have to give this a try 🙂

    1. Yes, it is! You can make normal hummus by leaving out the cilantro and using lemon instead of lime. So good.
