Portland, OR got about 4 inches of snow yesterday, and it is still snowing right now. It is always quiet around here where we are staying, but this morning, when I woke up it felt even quieter. I could feel the energy of the city was very tranquil, like people were staying home. It’s a weekday, but it doesn’t seem to matter. We are getting a lot of answering machines today trying to make appointments for several things which confirms that a lot of people are not working today.
The feeling overall this day is very peaceful.
