The Share Your World- writing challenge is brought to us each week by the lovely Cee via her Photography Blog. It consists of 4 questions she makes to get to know each other better.
These are this weeks’s questions:
Would you prefer a reading nook or an art, craft, photography studio?

Oooh, I would love an art studio! I used to be an oil painter. For many years, I have wanted to start painting again, but oil painting is kind of a hassle because you need several tools and it takes forever to dry, so I haven’t been able to create the right space and buy all the tools needed. It’s also an expensive medium but I just like it way more than acrylics or even watercolors.
I’ve also taken an analogue photography course and it was so fun and very satisfying to process my own photography in the dark room.

Would you prefer the TV in the living room or another room?
Living room is fine. For most of my life I’ve had a TV in my room and I got in the habit of leaving it on before bed and setting the sleep setting so that it would turn off by itself by the time I was asleep. I wouldn’t even face the TV, I just liked the “white noise.” (Do they still have the sleep setting? I haven’t tried it in years). Since I left to college, I haven’t had a TV in my room and I got used to it. I’m totally fine with having the TV in the living room now. In this era you can watch TV anywhere. I watch Hulu on my laptop all the time so a TV is becoming less and less indispensable.
What color would you like your bedroom to be?
I don’t think I have a preference. White, blue, yellow, pink… they’re all fine. As a teenager though, I wanted to paint my room bright lime green. My mom convinced me to choose light yellow instead. Probably a good call.
Would you prefer a one floor house or multiple levels?
I’m fine with both. Most of my life I lived in the 11th floor apartment in the city with only a staircase going to the laundry room. I feel comfortable in apartments but I also lived in a two floor house when I was very young and I have been going back and forth from apartments and houses in different parts of the world in the last five years. I like both. My least favorite has probably been a basement flat (although the location made it worth it), plenty of natural light seems to be quite essential.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful to have started as a volunteer at the cat shelter helping the kitties be more adoptable, I have only done one shift and I already have my two favorites. It was also cool when I was going to buy something for $17 dollars and at the cashier it turned out to be $10 off. Silly thing! But it’s the little things, you know?
I am also grateful for tulips on the table, birthday cake for no reason, and my hubby’s kisses.
This week I am looking forward to real authentic tacos al pastor and seeing my friends and family. I am flying to my hometown, Mexico City, for a week this Thursday and although I always really miss my hubby when I’m gone, the trip should be fun. Blog post about it coming soon after.
What about you? You can participate by answering one or more of the questions in the comments below!
Such delightful answers to this weeks questions. Our TV room is a lime green. It was that way when we moved in and it really works with the black TV. So I added some black and white photos and it looks awesome.
