Could someone tell me I’m not the only one who loves traveling? I know I am not the only one. Not that I am a nomad, but I love visiting breathtaking places, from the natural wonders and majestic waterfalls, to scary places on the earth to adventurous landmarks. Yumthang Valley – Sikkim
Sikkim is a popular destination for trekkers, mountain bikers, rock climbers and adventure seeking fanatics. There is Yumthang valley, Yuksom and the Dzongri Trail. River rafting is the latest adventure activity one can get a majestic thrill out of as well as floating along plenty of sand and white beaches.
Here sre some of the best Sikkim attractions that attract more than 1 million visitors a year: Teesta River, Flora and Fauna Sanctuaries, Monasteries, Nathu La Pass and the Old Silk Route.

Located at the confluence of the mountain streams Kundala, Nallathanni and Mudrapuzha; Munnar is the perfect resort town for those who love to enjoy the exotic flora and fauna, tea plantations, pleasurable boat rides and immerse in the picture-book scenic natural beauty.
Leh – Find The Finest Monuments, Fascinating Monastery and More

Goodness!! The India landscape is so vast and stunning. We have always wanted to visit India and we confess that it automatically makes us picture the hustle bustle of the city.
This post has shown us the side of India that doesn’t often get shared so we are thrilled to have even more inspiration to go there 🙂

There is definitely lots of flora and fauna landscapes in India from tiger reservoirs to many other places like the ones in the post. I spent some time looking for photos (with permission to share) to go with the text and paint the inspirational picture.

Sikkim is at the top of the list for my next visit.
Munnar is great. Trekking in the tea fields is wonderful. I didn’t love Kochi though. Maybe it was because there were constant power cuts and it was swelteringly hot! Thanks for sharing this guest post.

Great list Sravanthi & Mani! Lived on a tea plantation and visited Munnar many, many times as well as Kochi, but plans to visit Sikkim and Leh/Ladakh have been continuously jinxed! Hope to cross at least one of them off my list next year.
