On 2008, my best friend and I went backpacking around Europe and we happened to be in Berlin during the Eurocup. I don’t remember who they were playing against or even if they won (woops) but I do remember it being a super fun experience.
We accidentally came upon hundreds, maybe thousands of Germans watching the game on an outdoor big screen and decided to join them. How could you not?
We of course had bratwurst too. We were backpacking, and in a budget, so we had to share one!
I can only imagine how exciting the atmosphere was yesterday during the World Cup game, and soon again during the World Cup Final. Go Germany!

Oh! It was such a riot watching the game here in India that I cannot even begin to imagine the fun in Berlin! the finals will be even crazier 😀
