Monochromatic can be dull but not in this post. Today it’s all about landscapes and places in the world that are single colored with variant hues. In the photo above we find mostly greens in different tones in rural India.
Enjoy these scenes from around the world that are monotoned and their colors portray different moods.
These photos are all natural colors, they were not edited to make them that color except slightly for the Colosseum photo.
I am not a shoe person by any stretch of the imagination, but your red shoe really caught my eye. 🙂 These are great photos for this week’s monotones. 🙂
My favorite was winter white! Maybe that’s because it takes me back to my roots of growing up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. White was definitely a theme color for a good portion of the year! 🙂
All the pictures are beautiful! Though I loved the red shoe and the red color in the picture 🙂

I loved them all but the Hyde Park one is so pretty (and I don’t even like snow!) and the Colosseum pic stands out too. Great post. Cheryl

In particular, I liked three, all in a row: red (submarine), black (water), and beige (the treats … what are those called?)

Those treats are macarons 🙂 Glad you liked them, and thanks for sharing your favorites!
