Whether traveling for business or pleasure, you should have a smartphone that makes your trips easier and more enjoyable. Smartphones have become one of the most important tools for frequent travelers. And some smartphone features can be extra helpful for travel. Make sure your device has the following features so you can enjoy yourself without worry.
If you know that you will spend a lot of time on a train or an airplane, then you want a smartphone that has a large display. A large display with good color calibration makes it possible for you to watch movies and TV shows during the boring parts of travel. Many travelers choose the Apple iPhone 7 because it has a 4.7-inch Retina HD display. With a reliable network, you get to stream all of your favorite content including movies that inspire travel on your smartphone no matter where your trip takes you.
Streaming content from the internet requires a lot of power, so make sure you choose a smartphone that gives you a long battery life. This is one of the best smartphone features to have for travelers as they’re constantly on the move. And you never know where or when you’ll be able to recharge. The iPhone 7 gives you 14 hours of talk time and 10 days of standby time. Most people won’t have any problems with the iPhone 7’s battery life.
But if you need more power, then you should consider a model like the Galaxy S7 Edge, which gives you up to 28 hours of talk time. The Galaxy S7 Edge’s battery will even let you watch videos for more than 17 hours before it needs you to recharge it.
Of course, you’ll also want a smartphone with great camera capabilities to capture all those memories and share them, and good storage capacity.

I’ve traveled with both iPhones and Samsung galaxy’s and personally find the pictures I took with my Samsung always came out better than anything taken with an iPhone, but my new iPhone’s battery lasts about twice as long as my old galaxy so definitely ups and downs to both. Nice post 👍🏻
Thanks for your input Bri! Very helpful.
