As I have published in the past, I fell in love with London when I lived there for a year and still remains one of my favourite cities in the world. I’ve gotten the opportunity to share this guest post of top 4 places to visit when in London.

In the London city most of the places are iconic attractions with some historical stories behind them and such landmarks are considered best in the world. Most of the attractive places in London are free to visit and to explore in ways that such capitals provide in cultural style. Basically London is known to everyone in the world. Most people are liked to visit London in vacation times. Around London, churches and shopping malls are presented in a huge manner, and moreover, many more attractive places are located around the city like parks, big towers and palaces.

National Gallery

Here, the art collection includes over 2000 articles which are based on western European countries, including the masterpieces of remarkable painters like Van Gogh and Rembrandt. Natural History Museum

The Natural History Museum demonstrated the denoted history of natural world war, which includes the ages of people in fascinating manner. Tower of London

This place of London was called a home of kings and queens prior 1837. The Tower of London also was a prison and housed and executed several famous people like Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard. Given the past of this historic castle it has become a World Heritage Site and it is currently open for the public. It actually has been a tourist attraction on and off since the Elizabethan period. The Crown Jewels in display have provoked a lot of interest.

It has been bombed a few times, it has been repaired and expanded,  and has remained an attraction since after WWII. The Tower houses and is under the care of Yeomen Warders who still perform ceremonial duties and sometimes give guided tours of the castle. 

Museum of London 

The Museum of London is located on London Wall and documents the history of London city with detailed format and very well explained. If anyone is interested to get the details of the history of London, this museum chronicles the history that the city endured over the years, from prehistoric to modern times. This is not the typical museum people think of to visit when in London, but it is sure interesting.
