Today I’m flying to Mexico City for a 10 day visit to family and friends. Since I spend Christmas here with my husband, I usually travel to Mexico in December before Christmas to enjoy this lovely time of year with family and friends, exchange gifts, shop, eat, and be merry!
Mom already planned an early Christmas gathering with the whole family (including aunts, uncles, cousins, etc..) where we will all celebrate Christmas a bit early due to my early visit. I’m looking forward to it. And I’m also already looking forward to getting back to my hubby and kitty cat to continue the celebrations.
I have not planned what I’m going to do in Mexico but I shall be back with photos and possibly anecdotes and maybe even a few new recommendations for tourist travel.
I’m packing very light! And I’m hoping my bag arrives to Mexico at the same time as I do (since it didn’t the last time I traveled, though it did have to go through two connections and all the way to India), and I’m hoping all of my connections are seamless; none of that “delayed” or running and sweating across terminals sh** . 🙂

I’m flying into Mexico City in a month and I also am excited. I don’t spend much time in Mexico each year but upon arrival I go on quite the eating spree. Enjoy the food.
