Nowadays you can fly straight across the world. And planes are getting smaller and more cramped. Unless you fly First Class, lucky you. But even if you’re not taking a 16-hour flight, and more like a 7-hour flight, it’s still a long time to be in a cramped seat. Knowing some long haul flight tips can be extremely helpful.
Having been to India many times in my life, I have taken several 15-16 hour long haul flights. They’re so long that flying to Europe doesn’t seem like such a long flight to me anymore.
Let’s face it. Planes are not comfortable. Unless you fly First Class, lucky you. So, travelers have found ways to make long flights bearable and more comfortable. Being able to fall asleep is key so that time in the aircraft doesn’t seem like an eternity. One thing that can be worth it, is buying the economy plus seats if airlines have them. Extra leg room goes a long way when you’re stuck for hours.
