This Week’s Small Pleasures

Our private outdoor area for two days.

1. Hubby got a 4 day weekend!

2. Hubby and I spent two nights in an amazing airbnb in Washington and enjoyed the sauna, a bike ride, a garden walk, some wine, 4th of July fireworks, the fire pit, the hot tub and more. It kind of was the honeymoon that we never had. Full post about it will come.

3. Had a lovely early dinner by the water in Astoria, OR.

Weekly Small Pleasures – Blog Event

Weekly Small PleasuresShare your happiness!

I find that the small things that make us happy every day are easily forgotten.

This blog event is simply about remembering and sharing those small things that made you happy during the week; things that made you smile, made you laugh, made you do a happy dance, made your heart silently smile…

You can share in any format you like. For people to find your post, tag your post “Weekly Small Pleasures” and link to my most recent post for a pingback!

Read the full details.

So, what made you happy this week?

  1. I know that restaurant. My favorite place in Astoria. I have even stayed in that hotel that is over the river there too. Wonderful shots.

    1. It was a great restaurant. Our first time. I’ve also heard great things about that hotel.

  2. Wreck of the Peter Ireland is great for long exposures at night, if you’re into that (across the bridge in Warrenton)

  4. This is actually a big pleasure for me… it looks so cozy and relaxing, totally asks for a glass of wine. Amazing 😀
