Out of the many smoothies I made during my one-week liquid diet, this was one of my favorite ones. It was tasty, filling and full of healthiness. It’s not your typical peanut butter banana smoothie. It contains a bunch of nourishing ingredients making it the hulk of peanut butter banana smoothies.
The Hulk of Peanut Butter Banana Smoothies Recipe
Makes 1 large smoothie
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
1 heaping tbsp homemade or store-bought peanut butter
1 tbsp of homemade or store-bought tahini
2 tsps honey*
1/4 cup oats
3/4 cup spinach
3 tbsps greek yogurt
1 cup milk of choice
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 chopped large carrot
1/2 tsp Maca Powder
1/8 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp Flax Seed Meal
Directions:
Blend everything together and enjoy!
If consistency is too thick add some cold water and blend again.
*Notes: I added honey because my peanut butter is unsweetened, if yours is sweetened you might not need the honey.
The last four ingredients are optional but barely add to the taste of the smoothie and make it way healthier and powerful.
I let the oats soak in the milk for about 5 min before I blended so that it would be smoother.
Looks like a perfect mix. I had a bag full of peanut butter cookies this weekend and see some chocolate peanut butter cups tempting me on so this will be a great substitute!

You could also add about a tbsp of cacao powder to the smoothie for a chocolate touch!

I have read about cacao powder as a handy alternative to chocolate. Haven’t yet found it in the supermarket but to be fair I should probably try a much larger mall and hopefully find it there! Thanks for the nudge 😉
