This cantaloupe turmeric smoothie will brighten your day as you blend together fresh cantaloupe, green grapes, turmeric, and mint. It is packed with vitamins and minerals to give your body a healthy boost.
Cantaloupe is really high in vitamin C, one of human’s favorite vitamin, as well as antioxidant flavonoids.
You may have already heard about the magical ingredient: turmeric.
The active compound in turmeric called curcumin is known to have a wide range of medicinal benefits including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antitumour, antibacterial, and antiviral activities. You can read about its benefits more in detail.
Then we have carrot, lime, green grapes, and spinach which all add wonderful benefits too. (I won’t bore you with all the details)
And don’t throw those cantaloupe seeds away! Did you know they are perfectly edible and packed with protein? They have as much protein as soy milk. Also, they are high in fiber and packed with vitamins like its fruit home. Adding them to smoothies is a wonderful way to consume them.

Love this! I’ve always had turmeric in tea form but this looks like a lovely way to mix it up 🙂
