I have made several different green smoothies across the years and it looks like I found my favorite combination. The honeydew, the cucumber and the lime seem to be matches made in heaven.
Don’t discard the honeydew seeds, they are completely edible and very high in protein!
Honeydew Green Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup spinach
1 big chunk of cucumber about 1/3 cucumber
1 cup honeydew
4 chunks of frozen pineapple
1 cup pink lemonade or plain lemonade* or rice milk
1/2 tsp maca powder
1/2 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp flaxseed meal
some seeds from the honeydew*
1/4 cup water
Directions:
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth and enjoy! (I use my trusty nutribullet)
*Notes: instead of lemonade you can mix fresh lemon juice, honey and water. Also, only use the honeydew seeds if you have a high power blender.
Besides the smoothie you have taught me about honeydew seeds. Do you roast them or just let them dry?

For the smoothie I just left them as is but you can totally roast them and eat them as a snack. Cantaloupe and honeydew seeds are super similar, here are their benefits:

and here is how to roast them:
