Edinburgh, Scotland

Edinburgh is a stunning destination to visit all year around. You can visit the castle, climb Arthur’s Seat or hit Princes Street for some retail therapy. If you can travel in August, you’ll be there for the incredible Edinburgh Festival. Running for nearly the entire month, it offers every type of art imaginable. From comedy to theatre, music to street performance. If you want to turn your trip into a tour of the UK, you can be in London in around 5 hours on a train.

Dalmatia, Croatia

A stunning coastal region located in Croatia, the Dalmatia is famed for just how narrow it is, with its widest part only 50 kilometres. While home to stunning beaches and turquoise blue waters, this is not the only feature on offer here. You’ve also got mountains and forests, little villages and historic buildings. Dalmatia Coast tours are an excellent way to ensure you see the best bits.

Mexico, North America

Famed for its friendly people and fantastic food, Mexico is a place you must visit at least once in your lifetime. For those looking for an escape, you can soak up the sun on the many stunning beaches or soak in the fresh water of natural cenotes. When it comes to booking accommodation, try to get up high for some stunning views of the city or near the historic center. Back down on land, get your walking shoes on and explore. The ruins, pyramids and architecture you’ll find will blow your mind. There is so much diversity and so much to see! Rotterdam, Holland

Rotterdam might have had a difficult past, but its locals certainly don’t want that to be the first thing on your mind. It is sometimes overlooked as a must-visit place in the Netherlands by its sister Amsterdam. However, it really shouldn’t be. While it has retained some of its old charms, new renovations have been a priority. This means you’ll find some fascinating architecture, like the Centraal Station. It has the perfect combination of modern and innovative and historical.

Budapest, Hungary

There is so much to do and see in Budapest you’ll be spoilt for choice. History buffs will love the Castle District in Buda. Here you will find the Fisherman’s Bastion. The vista offers incredible views over both Buda and Pest, and the Danube River running between the two. Those looking for peace and quiet should hop over to Margaret Island to see the singing fountains and relax on the grass. Or, if you’re looking for a more wild time, the ruin pubs will be like nothing you’ve ever seen. Equally cool is the Corvin Club, which during the summer offers a rooftop terrace. Here they host events like parties and cinema screenings.
