The Share Your World- writing challenge is brought to us each week by the lovely Cee via her Photography Blog. It consists of 4 questions she makes to get to know each other better.
These are this weeks’s questions:
Have you watched or plan to watch any of the 2014 Winter Olympics?

I have and I will. As you can see in the photo above, I even rearranged my work desk to be able to watch them during the day. My husband and I have an unofficial tradition of watching the Olympics. The 2010 Winter Olympics were our first Olympics we watched together and we really enjoyed it. We both work from home so we get to work and watch the Olympics all day. Even though I am a snow and Winter person way more than a sun and Summer person, I think I decided this year that I prefer the Summer Olympics.
Anyway, in spite all the skepticism of the Olympics being in Russia this year, we really enjoyed the opening ceremony. As a dancer myself, I loved the ballet/ballroom section.
What is your favorite winter Olympic event? Would you ever want to be an expert in that sport?
I’m going to have to go with Figure Skating, I enjoy it so much. I also like free-style skiing, alpine skiing and ski jump. I would love to be an expert at all of those, but if I had to choose just one, it would be figure skating since it is the closest to my passion which is dancing, specifically ballet.
Have you ever met an Olympic Athlete?
Nope.
Do you have a favorite athlete? Name sport.
Not really. But I like Tom Brady (NFL) and Troy Aikman and Emmit Smith (as a Cowboy fan).
What is your favorite exercise or sport? Is there a reason why?

My favorite exercise is definitely dancing whether it is ballet, jazz, flamenco, folklore… I’ve always said that I need “fun” exercise. I just hate tedious exercise like going to the gym, or jogging, oh man.. I hate jogging. Biking is fun though. Another super fun exercise I’ve done was aerial silks and lyra hoop, circus stuff. It is definitely a workout and fun at the same time.
My favorite sport is skiing, but is not one which has been too accessible in my life. I also did tennis and soccer for a year when I was younger. I didn’t care for tennis much, but soccer was pretty fun, I wasn’t very good though and it took me a while to admit it. Also as a child I did my fair share of horseback riding since my family owned a ranch outside of the city in Mexico, and I enjoyed that quite a bit. Last Summer Olympics, I had a “craving” to start horseback riding classes.
Your arial silk looks amazing! Thanks so much for sharing!

I get excited about the Olympics too. Was taking Salsa lessons with my hubby and love ballet too. I would like to start yoga to get super flexible. I am THINKING about doing a marathon. But if I do it, I will probably never run again and just stick to “fun” exercise as you mentioned. 🙂
