This Week’s Small Pleasures #26

collagenov

This week I had some really good pleasures, mostly revolved around food and the holidays.

1. We were invited to the biggest Thanksgiving ever, with over 30 people, tons of food and some football.

2. Tried a new Mexican food place in Portland and it was so good! It’s called ¿Por Qué No?.

3. Ran into the best gourmet shop ever that sells amazing wine, amazing chocolate, amazing salt, and amazing flowers and an Italian guy was there to help. I treated myself to 4 amazing chocolate bars and made my husband buy himself a bar along with his bottle of Prosecco recommended by the Italian guy. I also decided that in my dream house, instead of a book library I want a chocolate “library”.

4. We bought our Christmas tree! And our cats love it. It’s their first Christmas (they are 6 months old). We still need to buy all the decorations that go with it though.

  1. Aww! Next year I’m going to push for a real tree instead of a fake one, they’re just so lovely! 🙂

  2. Oooohhh a chocolate library! I love books, but I could definitely be down with some chocolate selections hidden among the shelves 🙂
