I love cucumber in smoothies, they add a real freshness to it, add some lime and mint leaves (amongst other things) and you’ve got yourself a super refreshing and nutritional concoction.
Cucumber Mint and Honeydew Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients:
3 big chunks of cucumber, about 1/3 large cucumber
1 cup honeydew melon
juice of 1/2 lime
1 spoonful of honeydew seeds*
1/3 of celery stick
1 chunk of banana
1 tsp of honey, or preferred sweetener
4 mint leaves
1/2 cup vanilla almond milk
4 ice cubes
3/4 cup water
Directions:
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth and enjoy!
*Notes: only use the honeydew seeds if you have a high power blender.
I love green smoothies! Nice honeydew twist!
