I’ve covered red and white flowers, today we’re combining yellow and orange in one post. These colour flowers are so pretty! I think they’re my favourite so far, especially the orange ones.
In Europe and America, orange is commonly associated with amusement, the unconventional, extroverts, fire, activity, danger, taste and aroma, the autumn season, and Protestantism. In Asia, it is an important symbolic colour of Buddhism and Hinduism.
Yellow is commonly associated with gold, wealth, sunshine, reason, happiness, optimism and pleasure, but also with envy, jealousy and betrayal. It plays an important role in Asian culture, particularly in China.
See some of my captures of yellow and orange flowers around the world:

Okay, so this one is not a flower but I wanted to include it because it’s just so orange and amazing. An awesome autumn tree in Durham, North Carolina.
Which photo was your favourite? Do you prefer yellow or orange?
Such a delightful entry for this week. Thanks.
