Blueberries and oranges are nutritional powerhouses providing strong antioxidants and immune support. Blend them together in the morning and you got yourself a healthy (and yummy!) start of the day.
Immune Blueberry Boost Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup loosely packed spring greens or spinach
1/2 frozen banana
3/4 cup blueberries
1 whole orange, peeled
1/8 cup goji berries
1/4 cup vanilla greek yogurt
1 1/4 cup almond milk
Directions:
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth, and enjoy! I use my trusty nutribullet.
Notes: for a vegan version substitute the greek yogurt with coconut yogurt or some ice cubes, you could also use more banana for the creaminess that the yogurt provides. Soaked cashews would also provide this effect.
