Papaya Mint Smoothie Recipe
Yields 1 large smoothie
1 cup spinach, loosely packed
1/2 frozen banana
1 cup papaya
juice of 1/2 lime
1 tsp ginger
about 10 mint leaves
1/2 cup greek yogurt
1-2 tsps flaxseed (ground or whole)
about 10 cashews
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water
Blend all of the ingredients until smooth and enjoy! I use my trusty nutribullet.
Notes: You can substitute the yogurt for coconut yogurt, banana, ice cubes, non-dairy milk or a combination. You can also choose to leave some of the ingredients out if you don’t have them (like the cashews or flaxseed).
